What you need to know...



I started my counselling training in 2002, qualified as a Counsellor in 2008 and as a 

Psychotherapist in 2010. I am starting a degree in BSc Therapeutic Counselling at Leeds Beckett

University from September 2021.


I am a Senior Accredited Psychotherapist with BACP (as shown above) which is a 

professional body of Counselling.  Accreditation is a recognition of my work and also 

means I follow their ethical guidelines and good practice. 


I am fully insured for personal and public liability and DBS checked. 



Experience


I have 13 years counselling experience working in a variety of settings, such as 

charities:  SYEDA - Eating Disorders Centre in Sheffield and Nottinghamshire MIND. 

I have also worked for a private fertility clinic - CARE Fertility. 


In the past 10 years, I started my private practice working from home and I am now 

fully in private practice working with private clients, EAP's (Employer Assistance

Providers) and insurance companies*.


   * I am registered Therapist and able to accept referrals from the following insurance
